Michael's first experiments in creative writing were in his 20s when he attended creative writing classes at London's City Lit and Morley College.

Under the guidance of the writer Carol Burns, he wrote short stories and poetry and helped to produce the literary magazines, Matrix and More. 

He went on to start a family and set up a design consultancy in London and latterly in Oxford.

Michael now lives in Frome, Somerset where he is part of the vibrant writing community.

His debut novel, Grace, is now on sale. It is the first of a trilogy and he is in the final stages of completing the second.
